Your Kruger Park safari will begin the moment you are picked up and driven into the park. The earlier in the day you are collected, the more of a safari you will get to enjoy. We will check into the campsite at 2 pm, so should you arrive later in the day, we may end up driving straight to the camp. Once checked in, you will have some time to unwind in your chalet or bungalow before we head out for a late afternoon game drive. Before the camp closes for the evening, we’ll be back to enjoy dinner.
The Kruger National Park is a truly wild and unpredictable place, you never quite know what you will see and experience when travelling in the park. The time of day during which we go on safari, as well as the roads we drive on, will determine what you end up seeing.
Our Kruger Park safaris are often successful, with our guests having the opportunity to see all kinds of animals, including the Big 5. While we do our best to help ensure that you will get to see the animals you have come to see, you have to keep in mind that animals are never stationary.
Wanyama Safaris make use of all the rest camps in the Kruger National Park.
(Please see Kruger National Park to see how they look and where they are situated.)
We do try and book them accordingly to where you feel to overnight. Unfortunately, it is not always possible, due to availability that we intend to use, or that you might request.

On the second day of your safari, we are up bright and early. Coffee, tea and rusks are the perfect early morning snack and they will keep you refreshed for the morning game drive. We prefer to leave the camp before the sun rises, as this is the best time to spot animals. Once the day gets too hot, the animals tend to shy away. We return to the camp between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm for lunch and the early afternoon is the perfect time for a siesta. In the late afternoon, we again head out on a game drive.

This Package includes interaction with elephants at Elephant sanctuary outside the Kruger Park which are rehabilitated and rescued due to various circumstances.
The safari will be for 2 nights and 2 and a half days and on the last day you’ll interact with the elephants. We will drive from the campsite to the sanctuary, outside of the Park while we do an early morning safari on our way there to be on time for the interaction. (Keep in mind that the elephant interaction might also be on the first or second day depending on which time of the week your booking lays and availability)
