Each of our safari trips begins from the moment you are collected. We head straight to the Kruger, and if there is time, we will first enjoy a short game drive before arriving at the camp just before 2 pm. Camps require guests to be booked into their accommodation before this time. Once at the camp, guests have time to relax and unwind, before going on a laid back afternoon safari. On your way to the camp, you will spot all sorts of animals.
Keep in mind that the Kruger Park is very unpredictable and at any given moment something amazing to see and experience can come across our path, you never know what you will see, this will all influence your time and safari activities during the day. For this reason, there is no set itinerary, everything is laid back.
Our Overnight safaris are very successful and we very seldom finish without seeing the big 5, as we can’t predict what we’ll see, ‘animals do have four legs and they walk’. But we will try the best in our capabilities to try and find the animals you desire to see.
We are proud to say that our tours have great success when it comes to spotting the Big 5 as well as
Wanyama Safaris make use of all the rest camps in the Kruger National Park.
(Please see Kruger National Park to see how they look and where they are situated.)
We do try and book them accordingly to where you feel to overnight. Unfortunately, it is not always possible, due to availability that we intend to use, or that you might request.

The second day of your Kruger Park safari starts early. Coffee, tea and rusks are available as refreshments before we leave the camp for a full morning game drive. We leave on the safari as early as possible. The later we leave it, the hotter the day gets, and the less likely it is for us to see animals. We return to the camp between 12 pm and 2 pm for lunch, and guests will have some time to relax before enjoying an afternoon safari. After the last safari of the day, we head back to the camp for a relaxed night.
We refer to our elephants of the Kruger National Park Gentle Giants, simply because people are so scared of them where they are actually so gentle and well respected in South Africa.
Seeing Africa’s wild animals from the comfort of a vehicle is one thing. But to get up close and personal with them is something one cannot forget.
This Package includes interaction with elephants at Elephant sanctuary outside the Kruger Park which are rehabilitated and rescued due to various circumstances.
The safari will be for 2 nights and 2 and a half days and on the last day you’ll interact with the elephants. We will drive from the campsite to the sanctuary, outside of the Park while we do an early morning safari on our way there to be on time for the interaction. (Keep in mind that the elephant interaction might also be on the first or second day depending on which time of the week your booking lays and availability)
Lions can have more than 3 cubs but in majority they mostly have 2-3 cubs depending on the female lion’s genetics and wellbeing. Come on a 3 day and 2 night safari that should give you enough time to experience to Bushveld.
